Fiber art brings texture, depth and warmth to an interior. Every piece in this collection is handmade in Rianne Aarts’ studio in the Netherlands using carefully selected natural fibers such as cotton, linnen, bamboo and wool.

A collection made for different spaces

The portfolio includes sculptural textile art in a range of sizes, from pieces suited to bedrooms and hallways to large-scale works created for living rooms, hospitality spaces and offices. Some artworks hang freely from a wooden dowel, while others are framed or mounted on a wooden panel. Circular pieces, vertical compositions and wide horizon-inspired works each create a different presence within a space.

Why fiber art

Unlike a flat print or painting, textile art introduces a tactile and dimensional element to a room. The layered fibers interact with changing light throughout the day, creating subtle shifts in texture and shadow. The soft textile materials also help soften the acoustics of a space, especially in interiors with hard floors, large windows and other reflective surfaces.

Each piece is made by hand, giving every artwork its own individual character. Original works are signed and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Previous works can also serve as inspiration when commissioning a piece in a specific size or color palette.

Shipping and returns

Worldwide shipping is free, and free means free: there are no customs duties, taxes or other hidden charges on delivery. Non-custom pieces can be returned and exchanged for a different artwork within 30 days.
