Make A Statement With an Over-sized Fiber Art
There is something to be said for the simplicity of one large piece on the wall instead of several small ones. It gives a space some focus and peace in a cluttered life...
A single oversized fiber art is perfect to direct the energy of your room, without overwhelming the walls with a crowded clutter. It lets you anchor a room, grounding the space and centering visual interest on a single focal point- unable to be ignored. It says, “Look at me and pay homage…”
This modern macrame fiber art can be that focal point and anchor. It features geometric and intricate patterns combined with wonderfully soft Sheep Wool. This impressive wall decor is made with 100% natural, high quality twisted cotton cords capable of bringing balance to your interior.
Adding depth, visual interest and pattern, this handmade and contemporary macrame wall art makes for the perfect statement piece. It's especially suitable for larger walls which are in need of an interior refresh.

Meet the artist
I'm Rianne Aarts, the artist and owner of Teddy and Wool. Creating things of beauty has always been my passion since I was young. After studying at the Art Academy, I worried about making a living as an artist and pursued law instead. However, I couldn't ignore my true calling and started my own art studio in 2016. Since then, I've been commissioned by thousands of clients and by brands such as Google, Marriott, Hilton Hotels and Starbucks.
Please join me on this journey and allow me to create a beautiful handmade fiber art piece just for you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer customization?
Yes! I offer customization for all wall hangings in my portfolio. You can either choose from my existing designs and customize colors or sizing, or you can commission a completely new design.
I'll work with you to create something that's perfect for your home. You can find out more about requesting a custom piece: here
How does shipping work?
I have free shipping for all my wall hangings. I use UPS, which comes with insurance & tracking. Shipping typically takes only 2 or 3 working days. Please note that a signature is required for delivery and that customs taxes/duties can sometimes be applicable, depending on your country/state.
What's your return policy?
For non-custom fiber artwork there's a 30-day exchange period, where you may exchange your wall hanging for a similarly priced piece found in my shop. Customers are responsible for safely packaging and shipping the return shipment to the correct return-address.
Please note that for bespoke, custom fiber artworks, all sales are final.
How long does it take to make a (custom) piece?
The time it takes to create a standard piece in my portfolio varies and is mentioned in the product listing. On average it's around 1 to 3 weeks.
The lead-time for a custom piece depends on the size & complexity of the design. Generally speaking, altering a color or sizing from an existing piece in my portfolio should take no more than 2-3 weeks. Creating a completely new design can take around 4-6 weeks.
What materials do you use?
I use a variety of natural materials in my art, including wool, recycled cotton, linen, silk, and more. I only use Eco-friendly (nontoxic) dyes/paints and I source all of my materials from ethical suppliers.
